Day 15/16 - 27° - cold, sunny - Municipal Park
Molly and I are taking our afternoon walk at Municipal Park. This park is connected to Spring Meadows Park by a trail that runs along the perimeter of the Belt Farm.
We are having guests this week at the Red Cardinal B&B. Marcia and Paul have been here several times, so they are more like friends than guests. I am going through the last minute check list in my mind to make sure everything is in order prior to their arrival.
One item on the checklist is the breakfast menu. Breakfast at the Red Cardinal B&B includes a fruit cup, entrée with juice, coffee or tea, a fresh bread basket, and coffee cake.

I think I will start off with a mixed fruit cup topped with a dollop of vanilla yogurt. The entrée will be scrambled eggs with cream cheese, ham and a potato cake followed by the coffee cake.
I found a recipe for an upside down cranberry coffee cake that I made today. If it gets the “thumbs up” from the guests, I will post the recipe.
